Looks great.
I actually like this better than the shiny metal stuff.
Like the red/blue action and its not super bright.

Not to offend you but lots of people use the shiny metal textures a bit too much.
Bryce has some great textures other than the shiny metal textures but not too many people use them.
I know I have been using it for years. Not good at making my own but have some skill at modifying presets.

Try this for some fun, draw up something in greyscale and load it into a terrain/symmetric lattice and see what you can do with it.
Also try messing with the other texture types too. Still waiting for a slime based abstract.

This is a step in the right direction to stuff that looks like your stuff and not someone else's.
